A big ol’ crescent wrench. I might bolt a handle to it yet though. We’ll see!
But yeah, it did come out quite nice.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. If it's going to cost more than $125 to have one made, you'd be better off buying one from Brownell's. And Al is too soft.

    My shop charged me $50.
Considering what I’ve made do with in the past, I’d be quite surprised if this didn’t do the job. I’ve been wrong once or twice before though

I'm sure that the one I will have made and the clamp will cost more than $125.00. But then just buying it is not really the point, I'm making one to the original RIA drawings, for me its worth it.
