Look at 1911forum.com or any other forum website where shooters may be using Ciener conversions. It doesn't take long to find posts from people writing about how their Ciener conversions didn't work from the moment they opened the shipping box. And even if they could get through to Ciener, all they got was abuse and screaming over the telephone about how stupid they were, wasting his time, etc.

You've got to be uninformed, stupid, or desperate to buy from that man.

    I was uninformed...

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Thumbs up

Our CMMG device , Black Dog Mag's , and Federal 500 packs have worked very well from the start. The combination seems to get excellent reviews from other users as well. I wouldn't bother with anything else.

I've got a CMMG in my RR AR in a dedicated upper. It shoots fine, functions flawlessly, accuracy is good, only problem is it won't extract an unfired round should you want to clear the gun before emptying the magazine. That's rare but sometimes happens (wink). Seems the extractor just doesn't get an adequate grip on the rim. Anybody know of a fix?

That happens with my ar22 also. If you open the bolt quickly, sometimes the brass shell will eject, if not I carry a screw together cleaning rod to push the shell out.

i have heard all of the horror storys about dealing with ceinar , in my case it was just the opposite - not only did my conversions [2] work flawlessly right out of the box but my phone contacts reguarding shipping dates were well recieved , and they actually came early ,

that said i did buy one from spikes tactical , its a chrome version and slightly improved design , it too functioned flawlessly and they were excelent to deal with , shipped promptly , excelent quality and a satisfied customer ,

while my deedicated upper is more consistantly accurate ive had good results with the ceinar in my colt M16A1 upper on my retro rifle , i think its a 1/12 and that may be why
