well i didnt blow my face off...lol..shot it for the frist time today....it seems to be shooting low at 50 yards????only shot 2 clips thru it freehand at 50 yards iron sights and was hitting 4 to 6 inchs low! with the rear sight set on the lowest setting

I have a 1918 BSA that soots low at 50 yards too. I had to set the rear sight at 400 yards to bring it up. Raising the rear sight raises the point of impact.
What ammo were you shooting. I was shooting S&B 150 grain rounds. The sights are originally calibrated for Mk VII ball ammo with a 174 grain slug as I recall.
I'll have to go shoot her again with 'proper' ammo and see what happens.

i was shooting remington core-lokt 180 gr. ammo.....i did raise the rear sight and zoomed her inn...i didnt really try to sight her in seeing it was my frist time shooting her i was just happy it shot.and only tryed a adjustment or 2 before i broke the 22 out and started plunking.when i get some better ammo and more time i,ll get her hitting the bulls eye....ps let me know how you make out with yours

I don't know the full specs but ...... Remington should be good stuff.
