Advisory Panel
Devil's Own: very interesting. Not often a scope of that age gets such a test, or that the results are made known!
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Edward Bernays, 1928
Much changes, much remains the same.

Hi Surpmil
Now that you put it like that, I guess I was pretty hard on it. BUT my philosophy is that it has to be used to justify it's inclusion in the collection. However, I will go a little easier on it in future. Trouble is that I really like using this rifle and the iron sights and the thing loses zero badly when removed. Anyway, I would never have taken it apart if this hadn't happened, so I've learned a bit about the scope.
Cheers
Steve

Now you git me thinking of taking my unit out for a spin again. It just hurts my feelings looking at a formerly nice peddled scheme rifle w/ a British A5 scope scabbed on. I mean, It's just not right! Shoots well though.
