In the Far East, Malaya, Singaposr, Hong Kong, we had a few of these RAF No4T's come through the 'system' and a few of them had smaller B&C spotting telescopes in the boxes. I think that they were called 'Brittanic' telescopes. Still x20 with the same field of view as the Scout Reg. I mention this in an article somewhere

He has the 'correct' scope tool (see pic) but he is keeping that. ( I thought it was a tool for castrating bulls, but, he assures me it is the correct military issue adjusting tool, and the little 'double wing nut' tool was a 'cheat' made up by armourers on a local basis)
How strange! Now that i peer -ever so darkly through this horrid monitor- I do notice that the scope S/N is Mk.I, all right. Dang, I ought to save my picture looking for the weekends!
Oh, well. Keeps your expectations low, at any rate.
So, who's going to 'splain what an "obsolete" scope is doing on a 1968 rebuild?

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
