M1 Garand Gas Plug - Thread Pitch, Size, Specs?

Does anybody know what are the M1icon Garand Gas Plug specifications? Inner, outer diameter...thread pitch, etc.? Is it a standard size? Thank you.

9/16 - 32 UN . You can order the tap and die from any good supply company.
I think I paid around $25.00 for both. Steve

    Gas Plug Repo?

Seems like you guys know your stuff. What is the best way to tell if a single slot plug is a repo or authentic?
