What is the average price for a Ishapore 2A in very good condition?

Buster95: Don't really see enough for sale to establish a meaningful average but I would say $550.00 to $650.00 (in very good condition). I bought one at the low end of that range about a year ago. There was one posted on CGN recently for, I believe, $850.00 or something somewhat ridiculous like that.

I think Ridolpho's thoughts on prices are very realistic. I want one, not bad enough to pay what some people are asking however would consider parting with the cash in the 550.00 - 600.00 range for a very good one.
Remember seeing them well under that price in the US a couple years ago.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the finish used on this rifle? Suncorite?

-
Finish is usually "el cheapo" black paint slobbered on the metal bits.

I had a mint one (2A1), with the proper model of bayonet which I sold for 800$, I paid 760$ in the first place and once you add shipping I just got my money back. I had it listed at 1000$ and no hits, put it up for 800$ and 3 people wanted it in a hour, maybe should have tried 900$. This was all a year and a half ago.

Funny I just found one on a site for $1,250.00 and described as mint. From the pictures it is in very nice shape however I guess my definition of mint is different than the sellers. I have my doubts it is going to sell at that price, but what do I know?
