A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. That was awesome!

That was AWESOME! Of course as always I find myself looking at the cars in the parking lots (grin).

I wonder the curators over at SA know of this (I did sent them an email) - it would make a wonderful little display for the museum if they just put it on and let it run over and over for visitors. I am going to have to get back there - what a wonderful place.

One of the other things that struck me was that 1971 looked to be so long ago - I was reminded of watching Marlin Perkins on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom - and yet it was right before the bi-centennial that seemed so 'modern' in my memory ... It made me start to wonder if we aren't going to start ramping up for another celebration of 250 years - it is only 16 years away. Hopefully the guy in the whitehouse doesn't completely dismantle the country by then ...

Sorry, I never know where these are going to go either ...

That was a GREAT video - thanks for sharing.
