Rem Rand 1911 A1
Guys: Got this today from a vet's family. He got it in WW 2...Appears an original un-messed with Rem Rand..Serial is 1347XXX which is correct for 1943...FJA and P on the left side of the frame, Ordnance Corps Wheel on the right, with the usual marks. Some parts are dualite, which is correct for 1943.....Magazine is "L" and blued...Barrel is "HS" and "P" marked and it is also Dualite finished....The slide stop and hammer, the pins and leaf spring are also dualite.
I was glad to get this before the descendants had a chance to ruin it!!!

Due to being heat treated, the small parts are sometimes darker even though they are phosphate finished. The left grip is Colt.

Nice. Always good to see another one come out of the woodwork.
