You have a Remington M1903A3 (assuming that is what it says on the receiver and not "Remington 1903") that was modified by a previous civilian owner into target configuration. The stock was originally on a rifle inspected by Elmer Keith. The trigger sounds like a later aftermarket o ne, as well.

Welcome to the forum dustdevil
There are a couple of ways you can post photos here and we'd like to see your rifle.
You can upload your photos to a second party web site such as Photobucket and insert a link to the photo and the photo appears here -
* Click the 'Go Advanced' button under the reply area at the bottom, and then choose the 'Insert Image' button (Framed tree)
Or upload photos here directly up to a specific size limit with a free membership.
* Click the 'Go Advanced' button under the reply area at the bottom, and then choose the 'Attachments' button (Paper clip)
Remember to use the 'Preview Post' button at the lower right of the advanced menu before you 'Submit Reply'
(It's easier than it sounds)
