A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I didn't know that Lada had a NG powered car nor that Russiaicon was so far advanced as to have NG fuelling stations.

I would suggest however that the cause of the explosion was probably human error although Lada's are not exactly known for quality workmanship.

About 15 years go, our city fathers decided to try some LNG powered police cars. An officer was drivng one & lit a cigarette & discovered there was a leak in the system. It blew out all the doors and did not seriously injure the officer - flash burns & hard of hearing. The city didn't buy any more & started a No Smoking policy in the LNG cars.

Looking at that pic, it also looks like a leak either in the attachment to the tank, or elsewhere in the fuel line.
If the Tank itself had gone, there would be little left of the car, OR the pump!

I went to the site that is marked on the lower right corner of the poster. It is all in Russianicon with all kinds of images. Sort of a hodge podge from all over the world.

Caution though, some women models are featured there!!

Do not go there! Pages will continue to RELOAD AFTER CLOSURE. Must be some sort of Russian thing.
