alternate rear/front sight search
Got a bubba job Ross Mk2 and was wondering since original rear sights are a bit hard to find and costly has anyone used a rear/front sight off another mil surp rifle and mounted it on their Ross . The one that is on it now is a blade notch sight for rear and some kind of brass post in place of a blade on front which can be seen on another recent post call "got it know what to do " . Just trying to come up with some ideas on how far I might want to go with this project . I know there are some guys who put a Ross sight on their Martini Henrys for a better sight . Guess maybe a MH rear sight could be reversed onto a Ross but why , I got a MH and their sights are not the best . Was hoping someone used a 03 Springfield sight or a Arasaka peep sight with luck .

Use this type mount and an inexpensive scope or the 3/4 type and use a weaver 22 scope.

Ive used what I had available to me to get things like that done before. Parts like these are pretty common though so they were better off getting used and not collecting dust.
