    Reising Prototype .30 Carbine / M1icon Carbine : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com

These 3 prototypes have popped up a few times, I remember the seller having some m-14 protoypes and 22 cal conversions a few years back too. Any one have any info?

I don't follow Reising's but a few months ago at a small gun show one table had a couple. I think they said they had come from a Police force somewhere. Pretty rough stock and metal had minor pits and some rust spots. I didn't bother looking to close because at $5000 it was wayyyyy too steep for me.

thing that bothers me about the ad is, there are not many photos of the rifle, considering he wants over 10 thousand for it, also, why would he supply "copies"of the documents that he has for this? if it were the real deal, dont you think all original documentation should stay with it? or maybe he has others in the "works" that he will need copies for .

just my 2 cents, .....MERRY CHRISTMAS !

    On/off topic,

I had an opportunity a long time ago to buy the semi auto Reising carbine for cheap, but didn't think it was sexy enough. Only available with q 12 and 20 round magazine! Dang, I was stupid!
