S'G' Stock-Doesn't Get Much Better Than This

    Merry Christmas to everyone.

This collector grade stock came in last week. It is hardly used and has that "Raspy" feel to it, barely a mark on it, matching two rivit handgaurd that looks unissued.
Sad part is it was cut for the M2. I have to return it to an M1icon, and will add pics as the project continues.

    Best Regards.....Frank

Hey Frank! I just dropped my stock off at the post office.

I tried to do some of the work for you before I sent it, so maybe it won't take you too long to get it in shape.

Frank, that M2 cut looks like an arsenal job. I've seen some field-expedient jobs that looked like they used a bayonet on it.

Hey Harlan; that stock looks like it was underwater for about 30 years. But it's still in eBay 'Excellent' condition. All it needs is some glue, some stain and linseed oilicon. But seriously, Frank could probably make it look decent.

Thanks Inland44, yes that is a very neat mill cut on for the M2. I've seen some of those "field-expediant" jobs. I have a couple that are done that were chopped and chiseled, I suppose when you're at war you do what you have to do.

    Mery Christmas and Best Regards.....Frank
