Hi all, I just found this site this morning and it's great! My dad left me a 1922 ShtLE 1, mark V and this site told me more about that gun than all I found in the past 3 days of research. I just finished checking it's feeding function with cast lead bullets, dad had complained it wouldn't feed. Feeds great now - too bad he didn't get to shoot it.
I'm a woodcarver and sculptor who has part timed for 4 years doing stocks, repairing, refinishing and recheckering for a gunsmith.
I started an enduring interest in guns when I received two argentine mausers for my 18th Christmas.

just joined, I own a 1903 spring feild and 03a3 smith corona. Both guns are new to me. the smith corona probably has not been shot in 40 years the 03 is set up for long range shooting. I also have an 1917 enfeild coming soon. I am not a new shooter, but new to this type of rifle and shooting. I recently shot in my first M1 garand match and did fairly well. Any help or info would be welocome.

Hello everyone! I am a chronic gun nut. I shoot all types of firearms but have the most interest in various Springfield rifles. My latest is a 1903-A3 untouched or altered. I will definitely shoot this rifle and look forward to doing so during the holiday.
I like Enfield's as well and also have a Venezuelan contract Mauser short rifle.
Look forward to reading the threads!

hello from springfield mo
hi, i enjoy collecting and shooting military and civvy weapons both modern and antique, long gun and hand gun. just got my c&r and ccw. i'm waiting on my CMP m1 garand to show up. :) 1911's are great. john moses browning was a genius.
i'm looking at geting a mosin nagant rifle, sistema pistol, yugo sks, yugo mauser with my newly aquired c&r. and if i win the lottery a singer 1911......haha
i also like military vehicles i want a M1008 in the worst way. why? because a M35 won't fit in my driveway! i have the same username on steelsoldiers.com
i also like black rifles too. :) just letting you guys (and gals) know my interests are varied.
nice to be here.
