    Hello from sunny AZ

Hello, everyone. I've been looking around and reading this fine forum for a while, and finally registered. The only mil-surp I have is an M1icon I got from a friend a few years ago, who got it from the DCM some years before that. It's a great and fun rifle, and it helps me think of my grandpa, who fought as a medic in Europe in WWII.

Anyway, hello from the searing heat, and thanks for a great forum!

    Finding answers on this forum

New to restoring firearms but have hunted and shot firearms all my life. Recently aquired a 1917 American Enfield and decided to restore it. The last almost 100 years have been hard on this rifle and she was missing a few parts. A friend who has a great interest in military firearms took a look at it because I was concerned the barell and receiver might not be safe. He gave it the ok and as I began to break it down I had no idea how to disassemble the bolt. A search brought me to this forum and I got the answer in one search. Thanks!

Just stopped by to introduce myself. I have recently received my first milsurp rifle, a 1943 Tula Mosin 91/30. I haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet, but hope to have a range report in a couple weeks.Looking forward to being a prat of the community here.

Hello and thanks for allowing me to join this fine group of like minded folks!

I have the beginnings of a Lee Enfield Long Branch collection and a couple of restoration projects to tackle too.

Looking forward to some good advice and perhaps parts sourcing information too.

    All the best,

    Valtra

rpHiya, I am a new member here. I am a 20 year Army Retiree (1981-2001). Have some milsurp rifles (SKS, Mausers, Moisins, SMLES). I collect a lot of surplus Army gear. I wont call myself an expert, but I am pretty good.
