Hi to all members from Oz. I am new to Milsurps, however I have been a long time reader. I collect and shoot concentrating on Enfields, however I seem to have accumulated many other pistols and rifles. Looking forward to sharing with the rest of the Milsurps familly.

    FNG from Atlanta

Found this forum while googling what to look for when purchasing a 1903A3 Springfield. I bought an M1icon Garand last January from the CMPicon and am now looking for its predecessor.

I look forward to reading what y'all have posted on the subject.

I seem to be addicted to Sovieticon designed firearms. I started out with a couple Mosin's and now own and/or have built AK-47's and AK-74's. I also own a Chinese SKS which is a real shooter. As always my favorite firearm is the last one I built or purchased.

    Cool bobalongbill

Hi People, I am in Australiaicon And I have been a collector since 1950 and then a firearms buy back knocked that around a bit [ no semi auto's ] Still have lots of other stuff and collecting more. Now I am after a glass for the compass bowl of a 1942 TG Company London No 8155684 MkIII Prismatic marching compass. I had the worst day out on my last trip in the scrub as I dropped it while it was open from the front seat of our cruiser and the glass went second hand. I want to know if any one can give an address as to where I can buy one and the O'ring seal.

    Hi,

After many years I have been requested to introduce myself. I'm Bob born in Shirley Englandicon (M47c) ) in 44. Started life as an aircraft mechanic and spent my working life on aircraft from 27 years Air Force to Commercial now retired. Collected mostly Enfields but anything that catches my eye. Now getting too old and less healthy the collecting has reversed to slowly letting go of my treasures. Bob.

    Hello from western PA

    Hi Everyone!

Since I was a kid, I have always had an interest in all types of military weapons. There is something a little more special about older surplus weapons. The history!

I've lurked on this forum over the years and didn't realize that I never joined. Hopefully some day I can give back some knowledge from what I've learned here.

    Thanks for having me here.

    Ed

    WW2 reenactor

I have been looking for a M1icon grenade launcher for the '03 Springfield for some time, did a Google search found two for sale through a link to Milsurps, registered, found them still available and bought them ASAP. A great intro to the site! Already have the M7 & M8 but the M1 is the hardest to find, the most used and thus most important. Also a thrill to complete a part of the display! Thanks to Milsurps and would love to hear from any and all members!
