Hi
Col in Tasmnaia here, way down under. I collect and shoot most anything, all originals., as long as they are pre 1945. B/P is the top passion, restoring and shooting the next. I also am into Powder flasks, originals, too.

Hey, all. Just joined up. I have a small collection of varied military weapons, an AMD-65, a FN-FAL, a CZ-52 Tokarev, and now a 98 Mauser. I'm trying to find a reasonably priced replica of a ZF 41 scope, and some other odds and ends. I started with a sporter from a pawn shop, bought an old mil stock, and now the mauser looks like it's much happier.

#4 Sniper rifle
I have a #4 Sniper rifle. A fellow from Australia looked at it at a gun show and confirmed it as a Holland and Holland conversion, it also appears to be one of the first dozen or so to be converted. I don't know what it's worth but a "Dick" at the show offered to clean all of the greenish-bronze paint off it. He said it would improve the value. Should I have let him?

Hello!
HI. My name is Marc, and I am a military (mostly WW2) weapons fan. I stumbled upon this site after a friend of mine was given an Enfield No1Mk2 revolver in near perfect condition. He was unable to find out what a marking on the cylinder stood for. I still have not found it. Anyone know what "BMLI" stands for? I am assuming it is a marking denoting the manufacturer, or possibly an arsenal marking?
Anywho, I plan on spending some quality time on here and learning some stuff. Cheers!

New guy here.
Have stuff that I shoot and been reloading since the mid-60's.
Can't think of anything clever to say.
Here is a nice milsurp. Please excuse the picture quality.
I'm sure that there a lots of folks here that recognize this.
