Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I just picked up an M1 icon

Carbine at the last Chisholm Trail Gun Show here in Wichita KS. I THINK it's a parts gun using a commercial action, the serial number starts with H888-. I put 5 rounds through it last weekend at 50 yards and hit within 5 inches. I'm primarily a Bullseye shooter with 4 1911's, 3 in .45 ACP and a dedicated frame under a .22 LR Unit 1 Marvel Conversion.

Happy to join up with you boys , I have a 8 mill I,m told came back from france in world war one but I'd like to find out more .the one thing I am sure of is mauser is king gun is marked gew 98 various symbols stamped on it with 8564 bayonet is marked 191f on one side and acrown with a symbol under it any info would be helpful

I have been looking for a Winchester 97 for as long as I can remember, Maybe with the help of the members I will be able to spot a real trench broom, Or at least put the word out to be on the lookout for a CHicom copy.
