I signed up here a while back and I still haven't had the time to start pouring through the knowledge base. It's a little overwhelming, since my interests are not specific. I guess I will narrow my interests once something really catches my eye, but until then I will enjoy perusing all of it. I found this site through CGN, where my handle is the same. I really don't rack up many posts, but maybe that'll change when I find my niche...

    Cheers

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Greetings

Hello. After inheriting a heavily modified Enfield No1 Mk III, I just purchased an Enfield No4 Mk II, mummy wrapped and heavily encased in cosmolineicon and marked as New. Looks like a labor of love.

I have been looking around and you guys have a great forum here.

I am looking forward to hanging around and will post photos (or links to them) as I clean it up. I like to plan first, so it may be a while before I actually get in action.

    Greetings everyone.

I decided to sign up, in part because of the Canadian origins of this site. While I was born in Washington D.C., and still live within 50 miles of it, I am truly interested in the shooting sports community in Canadaicon, as well as the USAicon of course. Some time ago, I used to entertain notions of visiting Canada to target shoot, and perhaps even hunt, in a foreign (to me) country that was still within automobile driving distance. Recent political developments (ie: within the last 10 years) seem to make that seem unlikely. But I can continue to hope, and pray.

Lee-Enfield rifles have always interested me. Recently, I have begn to collect and shoot straight pull M95 Steyr rifles. I will post my experiences on them after I have some more experience with cast bullets.

Take care all, and keep up the good work!

    Sean

Some of my weapons: Norinco AK-47 84S, FN Fal, M1icon Carbine, Colt AR-15, Colt M1911A1, plus several handguns and hunting rifles. Interested to acquire K-98 & No.4MKI & some WWII deactivated guns.

    Hi!

    New member here.

Member of the Remington Society of America, Research Team.

Archives at Remington have much information that is available to collectors and interested individuals.

As time permits I can help direct questions to others in the Society for response.

My special interest is the Pedersen Device and its history during creation.
Presently working on compiling a total of known Devices. Looking for serial numbers or at least the last 2 digits and city and state where one exists.
Don't need personal data of the owner.

If I can be of help please let me know.

    Glad to be here.

    Vin

Hi all, looked around for a Forum to join in 2009. Chose this one. Hope I made the right choice. I am an old IPSC shooter DVC #059. And my Wife sponsered me into the Maple Leaf Revolver Club 27 years ago for ISU. Became a Class A shooter in Canadaicon and the USAicon (IPSC). Gave it all up about 15 years ago and sold off all my 58 handguns, rifles and full auto. Even had a Maxum 08 in my Rec. Room, what a conversation piece. Kept two old guys I bought in 1975, a 1969 Browning Auto 5 and a 1957 Marlin 39A. Just got back into firearms with my recent aquisition of a CZ858 and have a Russianicon SKS plus a SVT-40 on order. Arriving in the next few weeks. Looking for everything. Accessories, mil-surp ammo, Magazines etc. Like a 58 year old kid again. You ever regret selling something off? My Wife wants her Smith and Wesson Model 63 again, and I want my Colt 45 ACP. So I think we will be getting back into shooting, maybe not on the level we were at when we were young, but we are going to have a bit of fun now. Havce a PAL, but going to get the Restricted endorsement again. Talk to you all later.
Bless all Our Canadian Armed Forces That Fight And Die For A Better Tomorrow In Afghanistan
