Not sure if I'm doing this right. 1st time. I collect just about anything I can afford that goes bang. Have several Enfield MK4 that have been sporterized and want to find complete stocks for them. Any suggestions?

I'm also looking for a 1911A1 with the RS inspector's stamp.

Greetings from South Carolina, gents - have looked at a lot of posts here over the years, but never not off my duff and joined! Been retired completely since Oct 2012, and just now getting back up to speed after multiple joint replacements and surgeries. We all know that our mommas told us gettin' old ain't for the faint of heart!
    Cheers and regards!

    Hello!

Although I've been target shooting since I was 10 (I'm 74 now) I have never joined a shooting-related forum. I am moderately interested in military weapons and have collected a few. Occasionally I have questions to which I am sure members of this forum have answers, so that is my main reason for joining. Always fun to be with a group with a common interest.

    Hi there..

I have recently been asked to dispose of a relatives bayonet collection. I know very little about them but Pop said that an Australianicon bush bayonet was rare but I can't get a lot of information about it. Is there a thread on the forum that I could post a picture for discussion.
    Many thanks Brian

Hello my name is tecuhma. I was in Vietnam ,zone III attached to the 25 Inf Div. with the rank of an NCO E-5 .We were based at Chu Chi. I was there from 1968-1969. I wanted to say hello to all my fellow brother in arms, regardless of the Branch of service, tours of duty, and the memories that you have brought back home with you.(good/Bad) it has been many years but I still enjoy going to the range and busting a few caps at paper targets. When I was rotated stateside I lost myself in hunting . I went as far as hunting for big game in three states evert year for over ten years. It was what I called stress relief. Then after a particularly long and cold hunt. I was able to shoot a fine animal. My hunting partners back at the camp decided that after the hunt was completed that they would tie all of the game that was taken to one vehicle and parade it through town to the checking station. WHILE I WAS BEHIND THEM IN NY AUTO I THOUGHT HOW STUPID AND PETTY THESE HUNTERS WERE. AT THAT TIME I VOWED THAT I WOULD NEVER HUNT LIKE THAT AGAIN EVER. I WAS SO ASHAMED & REPRESSED MEMORIES CAME FLOODING BACK. WELL I PULLED MYSELF OUT OF THT FUNK ,AND TPTHIS DAY I BELEIVE THAT I WAS WRONG. I STILL HUNT BUT WOULD MUCH RATHER SHOOT AND PUCH HOLES IN PAPER TARGETS. I HAVE TAUGHT MY WIFE HOW TO HANDLE AND RESPECT FIREARMS AND SHEE IS AN EXCELANT RIFLE SHOT AND HANDLES HER PISTOLS JUST FINE.
AS A CERTIFIED NRA RSO & HOME SAFETY INSTRUCTOR I AM TRULY HAPPY FOR THE MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN THAT I HAVE WORKED WITH. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO READ

    New Old Guy

Hi I'm Don from Indy. I am training for gunsmithing after losing mu leg in a head-on. (not my fault) I was an outside sales rep, but I have been a hunter and gun guy since I was 10. Gunsmithing seemed like something I could do on my own when I can't get around. I have a couple of SKS rifles and a (unfortunately) sporterized Swissicon 1911 K11 Schmidt-Rubin 7.5X55 in addition to an AR-15 and too many other guns!

I love history and military weapons...

    Thanks,

    Don Lawlis
