Heard about this site on Gunnutz. A lot of self professed "experts" over there. Looks like people here Do know what they are talking about. Refreshing. I have a few milsurps, M1icon carbine, Garand, Mark4, SKS. Plus a couple extra bayonets that I hope to find guns for someday. As for me, born and raised in Sask. now stuck in Winnipeg.

Smile Here to Learn from Fellow Users of Historic Firearms

Hello Everyone. Swedishicon Mausers are my biggest interest so far. One M96 1910 was my
first. Then I found out about the M38 and then I could'nt stop so I got a 1941,1942 another
    1942 & 1943. Still looking for a 1944. Just recently a Savage Enfield became mine. I have a
interest in reloading for these. Looking forward to learn more about these.
    Happy Trails

New Garand, time to get involved

    Greetings to all,

Received a James River Armory Garandicon for my 60th birthday. Certainly never expected to own such a rifle. Now I am trying to absorb as much information as I can. I specifically wish to load my own ammo. Started reloading with my dad at age 13 but by no means pretend to be an expert. I do know that I will be most careful and exact when preparing cases and working up a reputable recipe for this firearm, nothing hot but as accurate as I can make it. Thank you to all whose posts I have been perusing and from which I have been gleaning information.

    Dennis

Hello, new member here. Guess you can tell from my username I'm partial to the Finns but I'm really into pretty much all milsurps. Glad to be here!

    Newby

I grew up with a Type 38 6.5 Arisakaicon hanging on my bedroom wall. It belonged to my dad (a career AF officer who was with the 11th Bomb Group (H) flying B-17s in the Cactus Air Force at Espirtu Santo and Henderson Field in 1942 -- he bartered for it with a Marine before he came home in 1943. I was born in '47. When I was in high school, I talked him into firing it with Norma ammo, lashed to saw horse -- it worked! I don't fire it anymore. As a kid, we lived on Okinawa for a few years -- only later did I make the connection between cartridges dug up in the school yard and the rifle in my bedroom. Considerably later I bought a sporterized T-38 disaster and put it back into shape as a shooter. I reload my 6.5 ammo now. Interested in learning more about it. Glad to join the forum.

    John Crusher checking in!

Hello all! I'm glad to be here and am looking forward to many lively discussions. I collect mainly WW1 and WW2 bolt guns but have a strong interest in Later Semis too.

    Hello!

Most of my internet searches for guns, parts, and information lead me to this site, so I've decided to become a member!

I collect a little of evrything; from Colt S/A's, to Winchester lever actions, to black guns, to (mostly) C&R smg's and mg's.

My biggest challenge has been finding the company that has military surplus H&R m-65 .22LR magazines!

I bought some from them a while back, and I believe a member had listed their web address, but despite an "all out" search I can't find it!

If anyone has info or can provide the link, I would be most appreciative!

    Thanks,
    B.D.
    Raymond, GA
