Hi guys ! I am a 25 year veteran still on active duty. I am currently at Walter Reed Army Medical Center getting treatment for injuries sustained on my 5th
tour to Iraq. I am very much into collecting and shooting the garand, carbine, M17 and the 1903/1903A3 weapons.

Hi to everyone. I guess this is a test to see if I can figure out how to post to this forum. I have 3 Springfields, an FR8, M1 carbine and a 1911. 2 of the Springfields are in the rebuild stage. 1 (1903A3) is getting a new (1944) barrel and the other (1903A1) is getting restocked with a CMP stock. I'm primarily a shooter rather than a collector. I'll be asking alot of questions as I'm not a professional gunsmith.
