Hello All- I am a refugee from Joustericon. Our friends on the left have purposely destroyed my favorite Web destination, so I have taken cover here. I always considered this board to be too convoluted to play with, but I will learn the language and the streets here. I am a professional pilot who has been playing with guns since my dad gave me a .410 at age nine. Retired U.S. Army and Air Force officer with three tours in harm's way. Hobby machinist/welder who loves to build or repair stuff. Two sons and two grandsons who enjoy shooting as much as I do. Hunter and fisherman who is concerned that the culture and government seem to think that we are out-dated, and worse, a threat to civilization. I will be here every day, and look forward to learning/sharing with the members. Regards, Clark

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello... I am a 77 year old gun enthusiast and competitive shooter. My best days were long ago but I still enjoy the sport and the people. I shoot NRA HP silhouette in the warmer months and indoor 50' smallbore rifle in the winter. Have been a member of CSP for sometime and enjoy the benefit of Dick and Gloria's Joustericon. Thank you both and I pray that old age sits well on your frames. God Bless!

Just came over from CSPicon - great to be aboard!
Don't blame me - I voted for Palin.

air-groundmen, and not the abode of uniformed
civilians in the prime of life protected by
    detachments of soldiers." Winston Churchill.

Hello to everyone. I'm new to this site but I've been collecting American military weapons and equipment for about 20 years. I'm new to Krags and Trapdoors, so I'll probably ask a lot of stupid questions. I was a "lurker" at Joustericon and I really enjoyed everyon's posts there. Thanks for reading.
