    Mosin Nagant War Trophy

Thanks for allowing me into your group. My initial reason for joining is to try to find records of my Mosin Nagant 7.62x54 registration. I registered my Mosin Nagant Carbine as a War Trophy in Saigon between Feb and July 1968. How can I get a copy of the papers I lost years ago?
The Serial # is 19578 and was made in 1960. It has a hammer and sickle stamp just behind the site on top the barrel. The serial #'s all match on the stock, magazine, bolt and barrel.

    Hi to all,

This is to introduce myself and my interest in Enfield's.

I have a No.4 mk1 converted target rifle which at present I am trying to research it's history ...lol not very successfully but I will keep trying.
So I may be picking at peoples brains from time to time.

Looking forwards to learning a few things
    Best Regards

Hi everyone, new to the forum but not new to collecting. I have a few pieces in my collection, not show pieces but nice shooters, parts kit builds mainly and fun to own and shoot. I recently traded a Colt New Agent for a nice vintage Remington 1903A3, the steel looks great, but the wood's seen better days. Looking to do a full restoration so ideas and info would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for having me!

Hello all! Most people I know call me by my nickname Spud. I am a fairly new collector of milsurp, but I have learned quite a lot about my favorites in a short period of time. I have become fond of Mosin Nagants / Mausers mostly. I hope to gain more knowledge on these with the help of this site. I do have a list of others I intend on getting as the years go by. I just wanted to introduce myself and again thank the community for having me!

While I'm not by any means new to military surplus firearms, I am new to forums specializing in them. I've owned and shot a CMPicon Garandicon and a M44 Mosin-Nagant for some years, and reloaded extensively for the Garand.
However, my joining this forum was specifically prompted by my desire to reload for the military rifle I've had the longest- a No. 5 Mk. 1 SMLE manufactured at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Fazarkarley, that I picked up for $19.95 out of a barrel of similar rifles in the basement of a local department store when I was a teenager. The price, the fact that I could just walk out of the store with the rifle under my arm, and that local department stores still existed probably all serve to define my age group.
Anyway, needing to find some loads (it was hard enough to find components....) for heavy bullets for the Enfield has led me to join several new firearms forums, including this one.

    Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself as an avid collector and dealer (for the last 25 years) in American military arms and accoutrements from the Rev War to WW2.
I'm looking forward to reading and learning from those that contribute to this web site.

    Warmest regards,
    Greg Marx
