    OT: Gunbroker question

Hi gents, I just sold a BB gun on gunbroker and the winner doesn't want it. It's not a bad situation as I can see his point. My question is; how do I contact the second highest bidder to offer a "second chance" like on epay? Has anyone done this before and how do I do it?

There is a "tutorial" on "how do I sell?" on the website. Go there. There is also a FAQ where you should find the answer if not on the first suggestion.
I've never had to do what you are asking so can't tell you exactly how to do it.

    FWIW,

    Emri

GB states quite clearly, "your bid is a contract". He should at least have to pay you your listing fees and sales commision before you let him out of the deal.

GB has instructions for what to do with a nonpaying bidder. Basicly, you give him bad feedback & GB credits you for the selling fees. I've had winning bidders offer to reimburse me for the fees, in which case I don't report them to GB, just relist the item.

GB doesn't have the "second chance" option that epay has. I'm not even sure that you can contact other bidders if they haven't contacted you first.
