Seats for Soldiers - Lacrosse Game

One of the local lacrosse teams had a seats for soldiers night yesterday. Retired and serving military personnel and thier families got in for free as a sign of appreciation. We had a chance to clap and cheer for our military, which is always nice. They asked the folks to wear red to show support. First picture is the food line ( Mr. Mike's steak burger, a pop and bag of chips for $5 C which is probably about $4.50 US, not bad ). This is a picture looking back, my kid and his g/f showed up a little later and is making the face because we are going to get our food first. The line was twice as long in front.

They had a few military vechicles on display and it was a nice night.

Getting ready for the game, anthem time.

Hey it's a Canadianicon game, we like to fight To make a better fight they take off thier helmets and gloves.

    But the penalty box awaits.

That's enough pictures, I'm glad to see the local teams paying tribute to our military. Good on the " Salmonbellies".

Really nice post Ken. Thanks for the photos.

PS - I saw a bad fight start last week but it got worse and escalated to a hockey game.
