    Garand Collector's Journal / Newsletter

I've got a collection of old Garandicon Collector's Association
Journals / Newsletters that my old Garand smith's widow gave to me.
They go as far far back as 1986 and stop with 2002. Most years have all
    4 issues spring-summer-fall-winter.
Was thinking of selling them because I'm done with them,
anyone got an idea of the value per issue.

    Thanks for the help

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. The GCAicon has about 32 of the of the apx 90 back issues available at $ 5.00 each. Hard to figure what someone that needed a few issues to complete there set might pay. I had joined the GCA in 1988 and had saved all the issues. Somehow I had misplaced one. I advertised for it on, I think, this forum and a member was good enough to send it to me for free.
    figure the 32 issues at $ 5.00 = $ 160.00
The other 58 issues, hard to say, but at least more than $ 5.00, but even at $ 5.00 that would be another $ 290.00 for a total value of $ 450.00.
The only problem is that the GCA now offers 2 books containing the articles from the back editions.
If you can't sell them as a set I am sure there are many collectors needing some of those not available from CMPicon and willing to pay a bit of a premium over the $ 5.00. You could put them on EBay but that can be a pain in the butt to try and sell them one by one.
This is the GCA web site. Click on "back issues" to see what they still have available. Supply Shack
