There was at least one other Winchester that used the same basic action as the Model 75 and 69A.
Introduced in 1939, it was the Model 72. It was a tube-feed repeater.
Enjoy your rifle for what it is. With the short barrel, it will make a nifty "camp" rifle. --Jim

It's a replacement barrel. Winchester barrels that were not factory installed were marked with the P in an oval. You won't find that mark on a factory installed barrel.
