    2 weld,
Winchester, Rock Ola and Stan Pro...that I know of.
I'm sure there might have been mixed use by other makers. I have S'G' 1,823 mil with what I believe is the original band...it's a 2 weld. While my SG 3,465 mil has a 3 weld type I band....also thought to be original. Another SG close to this has a 3 weld with the welds in a pretty uniform pattern across the top.
Underwoods with 3 weld spots in a off set almost triangle pattern.

Reproduction so you can us it on anything. If it does not look sixty-seven years old and you did not take it out of a WWII pack. Run.

    Thanks Charlie,
Would a late first block Rock-Ola work?.
I was shopping for an Underwood like you describe, this was my second choice.

    Regards,
    Denny

I bought it from a reliable source. I believe I could get a refund.
Can I get a few more opinions before I complain?

    Thanks,
    Denny

I may stand corrected with better/additional pictures. But I know a reproduction screw head when I see one. There is no curve for a case.
Paul, I was not putting the band down just to be a troll. With what I see, the whole thing looks funny to me. I have seen several of those bands with straight screw heads on ebay by the left coast sellers over the past year or so. I am sorry to say, the humpers are getting better and better.

The band has the correct screw it is not easy to see. The band came off a CMPicon white bag gun about 4 or 5 years ago. I know that there is alot of mischeif going on these days but let's not jump to conclusion so quick. I have spoke to Denny and assured him his money back if he wants it but that is a real GI band.
ps it has the curved screw head not straight as you assume.

    Thank-you, Paul,
I will try to look closer/better at pictures in the future.
I stand corrected. Sorry Denny for giving you a scare.
