    M3 identification

Hello All. New member here. I'm looking for a little help in identifying what I believe to be an M3 trench knife that was the property of my uncle, a late WWII veteran. It's in what I believe is an M6 scabbard.

I could not find any identifying marks on the knife, other than a small symbol on the butt end. There are no markings on the blade. I've attached a few pictures, pardon the rather poor quality, and am hoping someone can help me out. Thanks!

    M3 Id

Rock Dawg- You have an easy one to ID. The knife is an Imperial mfg. Only Imperial used red-brown spacers on their handles. Scabbard is a very common/well made commercial or PX variation. not an M6. I have a similar set.Hope this helps. SKIP
