Want to look at interesting Militaria?:

Spent two hours there and did not scratch the surface of what there was to see. The prices wanted are beyond belief but there were some things there that I had never seen.

Fairly good examples of bayonets, Fairbun Sykes knives, etc. I saved them for future reference.

Allow yourself lots of time as I could not pull myself away since there was so much visual and written information.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Asking ultra-high prices for "Turked" Germanicon bayonets. I could easily quintuple my money if I could get what they're asking!
Lots of interesting things to look at nonetheless.

    Interesting Militaria

A.F. Medic- Checked out that site. A lot of stuff. But one item kind of disturbed me. It was in the Updated 1 Dec Section -Combat knives. The item is USCK-56 USM3. It is a repro Camillus(1 pin in pommel) but it gets worse. The scabbard is a Camillus repro for their M4 Bayonet. You can verify this in the photos. Someone cut the belt loop in the back. The USAicon on the strip of leather is visible. Then extended it upward, cut it, then had a M1910 belt hook professionally sewn in, w/rivets. It was done well, but not legit. Note-no staples as mentioned in add. I suspect the seller was fooled. The other thing is they want $1299.99 for a fake. Stay on you toes! Even an established auction house got tricked. SKIP

Thanks! I saw that. I thought something was wrong. Save it in your Bogus or Tu*d file.

I would have not known about the fakes I saw without this forum. The bidder that got the bogus Camillus thought I was pulling his leg when I told him before hand. Now he knows!

    Interesting Militaria

A.F. Medic-Did the guy actually buy the Repro M4 Bayonet we discussed B4, or the insane Repro M3? Or did he finally listen to reason? Just curious. SKIP
