    Question for Bill Ricca

Bill is this gauge for the selector switch alignment on a M14icon? The other is a No Go for the piston I think? There is a package I never opened yet from the Dains. Rick Bicon

I am surprise the Dane had M14icon tools. I was not aware that they had M14's. (Sometimes things get shipped over by mistake)

Yes, one is the Gas Piston Gage. The other says it is for the location of the Selector Slot. It is a rebuild item, not Field Service.

Here are a few close ups. It is exactly 2" from outside center to outer edge on both sides and 1 1/4" wide. Any thoughts? The inside from center to outside edge is 1 3/8" and the other side is 1 1/4 Thanks,,Rick Bicon

I have no idea what it is. If that is cosmolineicon, then is probably quite old, and not M14icon related. 95% of the items packed by 1952 were in VCI paper and cosmoline was quickly becoming obsolete.

Interesting that it is made up of two pieces bolted together. I would'nt think that is as accurate as a solid machined part yet would cost more to build??
