    New Poly Tech's In Canada

Here's my new Poly Tech M14icon delivered by mail a week ago Wednesday from my dealer in Saskatchewan. Gotta love that the postman brings your firearms. The quality is unbelievable. And the trigger is almost match quality. Smooth short pull then a crisp release. Just ordered the Frontier scope mount, Leupold rings for my Leupold 3X9 50mm. Had them send a 5/20 mag for it too as the 5 round that comes with it sucks as far as aesthetics. The 20 round will look so cool and easier to remove than trying to get the fingers on the 5 round. $629.00 Cnd including shipping and tax. Comes with sling, military tool kit and the 5 round mag. They have synthetic stocks now either black or camo. Got the Camo just 'cause, no other reason. Unlike my CZ858, there is no factory proof target and the manual states that it has to be sighted in initially, whoopie, who wouldn't anyway. That is self evident as the front sight is way off on arrival. My guess is they just put it on without any regard to startup sighting. As there is a ton of bits and work that can be done, my guess this is only my starting point. Like all M14's, the fun is yet ahead.
For those observant enough, the picture is reversed, It's not a left handed version...

I owned one of the Polys, back in the day, when they could still be imported to the states.. Good quality and as accurate as my Springfield M1Aicon. Not as accurate as my Fed Ord. clone...Still a solid shooter...You will be a happy camper!
