    Is this trigger housing usable or out of spec (pics included)

    so i bought this trigger housing that was supposedly "new in wrap." it looked new and i believe it was NOS, however the part is extremely defective. the pressure pads/rails are not even remotely close to parallel, they are off by almost 1/10 of an inch. it is like it is "twisted."

    as we all know this is one of the most critical areas in M1icon accuracy.

    If this was to end up in a u.s. military armorers hands i think it would be tossed as being out of spec.

    what are your opinions. is this usable, or should it be sent back?

    I've seen floorplates bent like that before. I've also seen stocks worn/compressed on the bottom at an angle to give the same appearance as a bent floorplate.

    Be aware that there are many dealers out there that list parts as NOS when in fact what they have are arsenal repacks of reconditioned/refinished parts,nothing new about them other than the reparked finish and packaging.
