Iboos, Don't fret using a Model 10 Riot for Vietnam portrayal. I have a good friend who was a 2 tour LRP who carried a Remington Model 10 when the got too frustrated with his early M-16 breaking down. His Arms Room had a dozen M-10 Riots and he took one as his own. Shotgun on point was normal for his unit. The M-10 may have been officially retired, but many lingered on...

Don't forget the Winchester M1200 trench gun was also used in Vietnam. Here is my retro M1200 that I built two months ago. It was your average 28" 12 guage hunting shotgun but now it wears a USGI stock and forearm. The receiver, magazine tube and bayonet attachment is coated with Brownell's Aluma-Hyde II flat black and the barrel was cut down to 20" and then I parkerized it and other parts.

Your M1200 look,s great, you did a good job, where did you get that O/D ammo. belt? it really look,s good with your trench gun .

Thanks! I am not sure where the ammo belt came from because I have had it for a long time.

Where did you find the stock and bayonet attachment? I've been poking around for something like that and have come up short.

I found the stock and forearm on gunbroker. The bayonet attachment was purchased through Numrich's gunparts.

Heres some pics of my M77E

I bought it for my then collecting of Vietnam era firearms.
Now that I'm restoring my grandfathers 1943 GPW I am selling off my collection of gear & firearms to re-equipe to Canadian WWII.

I have this one for sale, as well as a clone of a XM177E2 , but not haveing much luck selling up here.
Too bad the US laws are as such that I can't ship there
