    Newbie Comments and Question

I just received my "new to me" M1icon Garand from AIM Surplus. The serial number is SA 889XXX, which according to Fulton Armory places it as an October 1942 rifle. I will post a picture of it later but it looks just like the one in AIM's ad at http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/U...on_Barrel.html

They did a great job of restoring it. I plan on putting some CMPicon 30.06 down range this weekend.

I also have a MK III which totals my whole collection of WWII rifles. I am looking to expand that, if the better half will let me, to include Russianicon, Germanicon and Japaneseicon WWII rifle examples. Any recommendations on what to get to represent those countries?
