    Scopint the Romanian Trainer

    What rings will fit the Romanian Trainer .22's wider than normal receiver grooves? Thanks for any help.

    PS - that's "Scoping" the RT in the title - Dang 'puter can't spell for spit! Any'a y'all have that trouble???

    My Romanian 22 groves are narrower not wider. Regular 22 rings will not work.
    I took a set of rings with removable plate on one side and ground down the base some to fit. They are a tad bit offset to one side but works fine. Mine is a good shooter with a cheap 3x9 scope mounted on top.

    These were the rings I currently have on my Romanian trainer. I put a swift 1 inch scope on top and use it for both squirrel hunting and for paper. My son loves it as its not heavy to lug around.
