    Aftermarket No. 1 mag?

I have come across a No. 1 magazine I can't place, so seek enlightenment here.

It matches, in design, the 4th model of the magazine for the No. 1 as shown in Mr. Skennertonicon's book, but rather than having the model number (2,3, or 4) stamped at the bottom at the back of the mag, there is a "TD" stamped higher up.

The mag follower is also stamped: "TD" over "76".

    Sound familiar?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Just going by the TD mark I'd say it's more like an Indian made military issued magazine. The aftermarket mags I've seen have a squared bottom with a sharp angle at the back.
