Ok What am I missing Type 99

Am I missing something here or is this type 99 worth it? I have one almost like this but the mum has bee ground off. Every piece on mine that is serializes matches. For $2300+ I will through in 2 bayonets.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Looks far from Mint to me. A mint gun does not have a stock full of dents.

That is probably the cleanest I've seen and all matching too! But $2,425.00??? I don't think so. Does anyone else think the monopod may be a repop? I don't know but it just doesn't smell right.

And to think I have had dozens over the years very much like this one.

The stock looks refinished to me, the finish is too smooth and glossy.

I think the monopod is real but one of the ends of the spring that locks it in place is broken off (bottom half of the picture)

While the price on this rifle is too high for what it is, I think Arisakaicon rifles in general are undervalued.
