    NM M1A Barrel thread

Would a standard (22" 1-12 twist) barrel fit on an M1Aicon NM receiver? I'm sure the op rods are different, but I'm not sure about the specs of the barrels. I'm very much a novice when it comes to M1A's.

Op rods and barrels will swap willy-nilly. Even heavy barrels use the same op rod, though the guide is often a different width as well as being H.B. specific.
