Question Rear barrel band for a Springfield Krag?

    Hi folks,

Looks like I have found some people with the same interests that I have, collecting and shooting old firearms.

I'm currently trying to find a rear barrel band for a Springfield Kragicon. Recently bought the Krag and it has been sporterized but a job very well done. I am planning on replacing the stock with a carbine stock but am missing the rear barrel band. Having trouble locating one. Any ideas? Or should I just fabricate my own?

    Thanks,
    Roudy

DeChristopher Militaria should have what you need. Some of the replacement carbine stocks are inletted for swivels, if you're looking for one with a swivel, they're on ebay and gunbroker quite often.
