    Thanks Dave HH,
    That was sorta my point.
Bolt tool is a must especially if you plan to use that carbine to go bang.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Thanks For The Help

I would like to thank everyone for all the ideas.l I gave the bolt a good cleaning and soaked it over overnight. Took the suggestion of buying a bolt tool so I could clean it properly. While looking at the bolt a bit more carefully, and using a magnifying glass I got an idea about how it should work.
I found that both the ejector and the extractor were frozen. Little Rem oil and a bit of taping and everything is moving like it should- I hope anyways.Guess the bolt wasn't closing all the way after all and wasn't striking the firing pin, but most you all ready knew that. So when the tool shows up ill give it a good cleaning.
Any ways found a lot of part numbers and other markings I didn't spot before. Hey, this is kinda fun.

    Thanks Again, Mark
