Took my '17 home after shooting the 530 yrd plate, and missing.Noticed a bit of movement at the front of the scope.Cheap rings are just that, cheap.Picked up a set of weaver rings and put them on.Gun shoots much better now,8 of 10 hits on the 530 steel,I do need more practice yet.But I am happy with the results I got.

How well did the leather check-rest help with getting you lined up with the scope?

Sorry it's been so long, my shoulder was more messed up than I thought and the doc just gave me the OK to go back to work and resume activities, like shooting, today. Will let you know how it works out, but by just shouldering the rifle, everything seems to line up just fine.
