    Pawn shop Rockola...

Saw this one a few days ago and decided to go back for it. It has a ROCKOLA barrel..no date, front sight is marked RIA, gas block is ROCKOLA, the receiver is ROCKOLA SN#1735769, FCG is inland logo on right side, op slide is P under lined and a V on the under side. Bayo lug/swivel is MMQ, rear sight is JAO 7160060, mag release is push button under lined M, flip safety is small m in larger C. Bolt is flat top and marked C.U. The bore is very good and metal has consistent finish. Handguard is two rivet oil finished walnut stamped IWFB? Stock is without markings and has been varnished. There is no import stamp. I thought it was worth the $599 OTD.

it sounds as every good as a CMPicon carbine for about the same, if not less and no wait. I would say a good score

Thanks. I had a pristine walnut stock and hand guard, R.R.A. stamped, [P] and G.H.D. over U.E. with crossed cannons in a rectangle. Trimble TN. in sling well. It is now gracing this Rockola and it looks great.

Radio is a great media format for verbal descriptions and words always works great in newspapers. But on the digital internet...

if you don't post pictures... IT DIDN't HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like a great bargain since Rockolas are not available at CMPicon right now.

Given the muzzle is not shot out, I would say that you got your money's worth!

    Congrats on a great find!

Actually...the bore and crown are very good. I like the finish of the metal..it is that oil soaked park that just gets darker. Thirty round split back mag is marked M2 small font, blued finish..
