    Enfield collection pics

Some of my Enfields. While I've basically been a K98kicon collector, I'm a big fan of Enfields

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Wonderful collection Ham ...

What is that No.4 second from the bottom?

The wood grain and striping on her is awesome ...

I'll have to get my wife (she's the Enfield collector) to come have a look at these.

    Regards,
    Badger (Doug)

Heck, I was busy peering at the Denison smock that I didn't even notice the No.4 T straight away. Beautiful collection.

Tks Badger. It's a Long Branch 1943, NZicon marked.

A little OT, but here are some further Denison pics Spinecracker.

    Nice looking smock Ham…

Believe it or not, to add to her Enfield sniper collection, my wife found an original 1944 SIZE # 1 jump smock that fits her perfectly. The bonus was she found a period empty "candy wrapper" in the pocket.

That LB is a beautiful old gal. I'd buy her a drink anytime.

That candy wrapper looks like one from a packet of Spangle's; a square fruit flavoured hard boiled sweet with a dip in the middle, it's been a few years since I last had one.

Thanks for that I think I'd have to sell my left kidney to be able to afford an original Denison in such nice condition.
