Unadulterated linseed oil is generally used as a salad dressing throughout continental Europe.

Now that's a novel way of selecting a restaurant:

Or, at least here in the states, go to your local vitamin purveyor and get some flaxseed oil. Exact same stuff as linseed oil AND it's good for you!

New potatoes, "Weisskäse" (with chopped onions and hot pepper) with linseed oil is ok by me.
