    Hey Arisakaicon,

I tried, photos are too big to post here. Don't know if I can reduce the photos with the program I have, doesn' look like it.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It makes something like a "shoe polish" for wood that absorbs well and also makes a nice finish after 3-4 hand rubbed coats.

^X2 This!!! Great stuff! The wax is also available as Tom's 1/3 Military Stock Wax, just Google it.

This stock was thoroughly degreased (plumb full of oil) with Dawn Power Dissolver and brushes, lightly sanded to cleanup, then rubbed for 1 hour with Fairtrimmer's and 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then wiped dry. Let it dry for a week, then waxed with 2 coats of Tom's.

I have not recevied my new CMPicon stock yet, but I did receive a new buttplate. The buttplate seems to be smaller than the picture of the stock, are new stocks made larger and must be sanded to fit the parts? Thanks
