    P38 Marking ToM ?

    I have just purchased a Walther AC43 P38.

It has ToM stamped on the upper right hand trigger guard.

    what does it reffer to?

    Thanks

The trigger guard is below where the strange stamp is located. That mark is considered the frame. I'll check the Buxton book to see what I can find. Brett.

    Question

    Never seen that before.
It is Not a WW 2 Germanicon marking so it is post war, by who or for what I have no idea.
Any other unusual markings on the frame or slide?

The stamp in between the T and M, is not a lower case o, not a perfect circle.

Whoever owns this has posted it all over the net. Good luck with whatever your goal is.
