A few months ago they had almost a full list of rackers. I needed a S'G' and they had them for $595 so I put in a blind order. Good news was it came with
the correct service grade (+.001) Underwood barrel. Bad news was the bolt was cracked so I returned it and they put a good bolt in and got it back in about a week. It was carbine 9 of 10, a Rockola will complete our collection.
I learned my lesson about 5 years ago when they had a zillion 1903's and then
one day there were none. Lucky we got 5 different types before the well ran
dry. $325 is dirt cheap so go for it.

I have several extra bolts. I guess I will take the plunge and order a carbine to go with each.

I'm with you Wulf. If it's not a good deal, we'll both get burned. But I don't think that will happen. The CMPicon guys work hard to please us! And I have "several" spare bolts....

Ronnie, don't go saying that... you seem to have the best "luck" with CMPicon!!!!

I drop an order for one the first day. I figure why not? If I don't like it, I'll just post it on GB as "... a one-of -a-kind, experimental unit which was made without a bolt to save on late-war transportation costs"... I am sure can dump it for at least $1,000....

I placed a order Mon. 6-28 for a boltless. My Texas son called Wen. with a emergency order for a boltless & a Garandicon so I did a Perry run. They had about 20 boltless in stock. I almost got a SG w/WRA barrel (.002) but they also had about 10 Inland rackers for $419. I found one
sn. 5240XX, 1942, with a nice Standard Prod. stock. I finished them yesterday and they both look good. Hope the mail order gun is as good.

I changed my mind. After seeing them at the South Store last Thurs, they are really bad.

I'm not saying they are all bad. I just felt like the ones on the rack last Thur were very rough. I am going back next Thur ( most likely ) and wil give it a second chance. Maybe one ( or more ) will catch my eye.
